Industrial Engineer – Process Improvement & Lean Manufacturing

About the role

The Industrial Engineer will support the development of next‑model year process sheets, drive budget submissions and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives across the plant. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to standardise methods, optimise productivity and ensure compliance with safety and material standards.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate next model year process sheets and support budget submission using AMPS and predetermined time analysis.
• Review and implement model year changes and participate in WPI/OTP programs for future projects.
• Improve productivity by eliminating waste, balancing workloads and standardising work instructions (SWI) for production areas.
• Update AMPS 3 to maintain headcount, cycle times, material usage and vehicle safety requirements.
• Define standards for required and non‑productive material and harmonise methods across teams and shifts.
• Control manpower authorisations, update productivity KPIs and manage overtime approval.

Required profile

• Plant experience as an Industrial Engineer with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and predetermined time analysis methods such as MTM‑UAS or Modapts.
• Proficiency with Office or Google applications for data handling and reporting.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Teamcenter for documentation and design support.
