Industrial Engineering Technician

About the role

The Industrial Engineering Technician supports the manufacturing team by creating planning programs, designing workstations, and maintaining the production floor according to company standards. This role contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and ensures that equipment disposal and documentation are handled efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing planning programs and designing/fabricating workstations.
• Mark the manufacturing floor following company standards.
• Generate documentation for the disposal of obsolete equipment to free up floor space.
• Update process documents and work instructions.
• Identify waste and high‑cost areas and implement Kaizen improvements.
• Participate in Near Miss and Kaizen programs.
• Comply with Environmental, Health, Safety, Sustainability, and Energy Management requirements.
• Complete assigned training and maintain ethical conduct.
• Ensure products meet 100% quality standards and customer requirements.

Required profile

• Professional degree (IIA, ISPI) or a minimum technical degree.
• At least 40% fluency in spoken and written English.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Creativity, initiative, and manufacturing experience, preferably in the automotive sector.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Proficiency in using measuring instruments.
• Proficiency in using a stopwatch for time and motion studies.
• Ability to interpret layouts.
• Ability to interpret technical engravings.
