About the role
The Infection Control Nurse is responsible for supporting infection prevention initiatives within the Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD). This role ensures that all sterilization and disinfection processes meet established safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain infection control standards within the CSSD.
- Monitor and verify proper sterilization and disinfection procedures.
- Assist in developing and implementing infection prevention policies and protocols.
Required profile
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a CSSD environment.
- Diploma or certification in CSSD (preferred) or any relevant paramedical qualification.
Required skills
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques.
- Familiarity with infection control protocols.
