Information Technology and Data Specialist

About the role

The Information Technology and Data Specialist will support the Director of IT and Assistant Director of IT in maintaining and securing all technology systems across Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo. This role ensures seamless technology experiences for both staff and guests in a luxury resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily operation and availability of mission‑critical hotel systems, including PMS, Call Accounting, HSIA, PBX, and Food & Beverage POS.
• Maintain user accounts, permissions, system configurations and documentation.
• Monitor and maintain server infrastructure, operating systems, and overall system performance, handling upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Provide desktop support for operating systems, applications, hardware, and peripheral devices.
• Assist hotel applications such as back‑office, Sales & Catering, Human Resources, and other operational systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues while minimizing service interruptions.

Required profile

• Strong technical aptitude with experience supporting hospitality‑focused technology platforms.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced resort setting.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
