Information Technology Support Specialist

About the role

The Information Technology Support Specialist provides on-premises technical assistance to end users and maintains office IT infrastructure. Working closely with Ericsson’s L2 teams, you will ensure smooth operation of desktops, laptops, peripherals, network devices and smart office solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues on Windows, macOS and Linux desktops, laptops, printers, mobile phones and other peripherals.
• Provision and de-provision corporate devices, replace faulty equipment with temporary units, and manage device imaging and disposal.
• Install, test and maintain basic network hardware such as switches, routers, access points, firewalls, NAC, DNS and Secnet components.
• Support office connectivity (Wi‑Fi, LAN), printing services, AV equipment, digital signage and smart‑metering sensors.
• Coordinate with L2 teams for escalations, vendor repairs and audit compliance, and escort third‑party providers to the data room.
• Maintain accurate incident records and asset inventories, perform regular hardware audits and generate status reports.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with desktop and peripheral support in a corporate environment.
• Familiarity with device lifecycle processes, including provisioning, imaging and secure disposal.
• Ability to work onsite, collaborate with multiple technical teams and follow documented procedures.
• Attention to detail for asset tracking and compliance activities.
