Infrastructure Compliance Administrator

About the role
We are seeking an Infrastructure Compliance Administrator to join our global IT Infrastructure team in Monterrey. The role is pivotal in enhancing NOV’s security posture by overseeing patch and configuration compliance across Windows Server, Windows Client, and Linux environments.
Key responsibilities
- Continuously monitor patching effectiveness and compliance across Windows and Linux platforms.
- Build and maintain compliance dashboards and regular reports.
- Collaborate with system owners to remediate gaps, coordinate reboots, and verify results.
- Manage operating system and hardware lifecycle processes.
- Ensure alignment with internal security frameworks and policies.
- Conduct compliance audits, document findings, and support remediation.
- Develop and maintain operational and configuration documentation.
- Work with Cyber Threat Intelligence on zero‑day vulnerabilities and emerging risks.
- Support continuous improvement and automation initiatives for patch and compliance management.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems administration focused on patch management and compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Fluent English for daily communication.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Windows Server, CompTIA Security+, Flexera) are a plus.
Required skills
- PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Windows Client, and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with Desired State Configuration (DSC) and security baselines.
- Familiarity with compliance monitoring tools.
- Hands‑on experience with Flexera, Tanium, or similar patch/compliance automation platforms.
