About the role

cbrands is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to lead the design, development and delivery of enterprise‑level BI solutions for its Digital Manufacturing division in Mexico City. You will turn raw data into actionable insights that drive operational efficiency and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain self‑service BI dashboards, reports and analytics applications supporting OEE, KPI and ad‑hoc analysis.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, write complex SQL queries and extract data from multiple sources.
• Visualize data using best‑practice techniques to communicate trends and patterns clearly to stakeholders.
• Ensure data integrity and quality through regular validation, testing and documentation.
• Manage the full project lifecycle from concept through deployment, including cloud‑based BI infrastructure.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience delivering enterprise‑level Business Intelligence solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong communication and storytelling abilities, with a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
• Adaptability to fast‑paced environments and meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL proficiency, including complex query development.
• Hands‑on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Amazon QuickSight.
• Data visualization expertise and knowledge of best practices.
• Experience deploying BI solutions on cloud platforms.
• Proven ability to build and maintain enterprise‑scale BI architectures.
