Integration & Solutions Operational Excellence Engineer

About the role

The Integration & Solutions Operational Excellence Engineer will lead the deployment of Baker Hughes' Operational Excellence (OE) strategy across well‑construction, completions, intervention and abandonment projects. You will translate business goals into measurable initiatives, drive safety and reliability, and embed continuous‑improvement practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Implement OE strategy across I&S projects, defining KPIs and governance routines.
• Promote a strong HSE culture by ensuring compliance with Baker Hughes non‑negotiables.
• Lead performance‑management systems, including KPI tracking, visual management and reporting.
• Facilitate OE reviews, reliability councils and cross‑functional governance forums.
• Support reliability improvement through Root Cause Analysis, Field Incident Management Process and corrective‑action implementation.
• Collaborate with product lines, suppliers and quality teams to enhance execution and customer outcomes.
• Drive digital enablement using tools such as Power BI and MAPS to improve data visibility and predictive insights.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives using Lean, DMAIC and other structured methodologies.
• Embed risk‑management, readiness and Management of Change practices into project execution.
• Coach teams and leaders on OE principles, problem‑solving techniques and performance‑improvement frameworks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operational excellence, performance management or continuous‑improvement roles, preferably in oil & gas or related industrial sectors.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive measurable results.
