Internal Audit Analyst

About the role

The Analyst II Internal Auditor will join Aptar’s Global Business Services centre in Querétaro, supporting the Global Internal Audit Team. The role involves testing the company’s key control environment, conducting SOX assessments and delivering audit findings with improvement recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a strong internal control environment.
• Assist in executing and testing the annual Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) assessment.
• Support risk‑based operational, financial and compliance audits.
• Perform SOX and internal‑control testing across multiple cycles.
• Collaborate with functional personnel to monitor and verify controls.
• Help develop corrective action plans for audit findings.
• Maintain a register of key process and control owners.
• Assist with operational audits as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a comparable field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting, internal controls, financial reporting, or audit.
• Understanding of financial‑statement risks and SOX compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with internal‑control best practices.
