International Operations Agent II

About the role

As an International Operations Agent II you will coordinate the daily import and export of freight‑forwarding shipments for the United Kingdom. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring shipments across air, ocean and surface modes meet contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusted advisor relationships with customers, advising on shipment requirements, regulations, certificates and documentation.
• Prepare accurate, profitable quotations and manage the full offer process.
• Plan and coordinate day‑to‑day international import and export operations across all transport modes.
• Handle order review, documentation, brokerage and customs‑entry processing.
• Monitor shipment progress through proactive tracking and resolve issues promptly.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Understanding of international freight‑forwarding regulations and documentation.

Required skills

• Knowledge of import/export documentation and customs procedures.
• Experience with quotation preparation and logistics solution design.
