International Tax Specialist

About the role

The International Tax Specialist will join Aptar's Global Tax team, reporting to both the global team and the Mexico Controller. Based in Queretaro, the role supports local GAAP accounting and tax compliance for Mexican legal entities while collaborating with business segments and the Shared Services Center.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit local tax and corporate tax reports.
• Support local GAAP accounting and post adjustment entries.
• Prepare or support BPC Tax reporting and related local schedules.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and Local GAAP, minimizing tax risks.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors and local tax authorities.
• Assist with local and corporate tax audits.
• Support annual Transfer Pricing processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of relevant tax experience.
• Intermediate English proficiency (B1 or higher).

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and local Mexican GAAP.
• Experience with SAP (including BPC Tax reporting).
• Solid accounting and tax regulation expertise.
