IT Specialist – Technical Support (Mexico)

About the role

China Three Gorges Latam is looking for an IT Specialist to join its Mexican team. The role focuses on delivering prompt technical support to internal users, ensuring that all IT equipment and systems operate smoothly, and assisting with the rollout of IT policies and projects.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to help‑desk tickets, emails and direct user requests in a timely, professional manner.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for laptops, desktops, printers and peripherals.
• Provide in‑person and remote support, including onboarding of new hires and off‑boarding of departing employees.
• Assist users with Microsoft 365 applications and SAP ERP access.
• Support Wi‑Fi, printer and basic network troubleshooting.
• Install authorized software, maintain license compliance and keep the IT asset inventory up to date.
• Perform periodic preventive maintenance of IT hardware and manage backup devices.
• Maintain help‑desk procedures, contribute to internal IT policy implementation and report recurring issues.

Required profile

• College degree in Computer Science, IT Support or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of IT support experience, including at least 1 year in a help‑desk role.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work collaboratively with regional IT and administration teams.
• English proficiency at B2 level and willingness to work fully on‑site at the Polanco offices.
