Junior Air & Ocean Executive

About the role

As a Junior Air & Ocean Executive at CEVA Logistics, you will support the coordination and administration of air and ocean freight operations across North America. Based in Mexico City, you will help maintain operational accuracy, ensure compliance with trade regulations, and provide data‑driven insights to improve logistics performance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily logistics activities, including shipment tracking, scheduling, and comprehensive management of shipping documentation to ensure smooth air and ocean freight operations.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to flow and operational efficiency, analyse trends and generate detailed reports with actionable insights for leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborate with customer service, warehouse, transportation and compliance teams to proactively identify and resolve operational challenges, optimizing overall process efficiency.
• Ensure strict adherence to company policies, legal requirements and international trade regulations, including customs and export‑import compliance.
• Update and maintain logistics databases accurately, guaranteeing data integrity for internal audits and external operational reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process bottlenecks and proposing practical solutions to enhance throughput and performance.
• Contribute to the training and onboarding of new team members, sharing knowledge of logistics procedures, systems and best practices.
• Maintain proactive and clear communication channels with internal stakeholders to support seamless operations.
