Junior Engineer – Torreón, Mexico

About the role

Join KONE Mexico as a Junior Engineer based in Torreón. You will work on technical design creation, documentation and validation while collaborating with cross‑functional teams in an agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create technical design proposals, including drawings, electrical diagrams, calculations and product models to meet legal and code requirements.
• Verify and validate designs, develop concepts, mock‑ups and prototypes, and maintain existing designs with corrective actions as needed.
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint and quarterly planning, and collaborate with software and other discipline teams.
• Identify and report technical and schedule risks, and manage product data according to PDM/PLM guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving mindset with ability to generate innovative solutions.
• Experience in technical design creation, documentation and validation.
• Knowledge of industry codes, standards and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with agile ways of working and cross‑functional collaboration.
