Junior Legal Attorney (SOFOM) – Fluent English

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in the heart of Mexico City and focuses on legal compliance for a SOFOM (financial services) entity. The role is ideal for a recent law graduate who already has 2‑5 years of experience in a legal capacity within the fintech sector and can communicate fluently in English.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research related to CNBV and Condusef regulations.
• Draft, review and revise legal documents and contracts.
• Maintain liaison with regulators such as CNBV and Condusef.
• Support the compliance team in monitoring regulatory changes.
• Assist in preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• 2 to 5 years of legal experience in a Fintech/SOFOM environment.
• Professional experience working with CNBV and Condusef regulations.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience in regulatory compliance or consultancy for international business is beneficial.
