Junior Manager, Risk Management

About the role

Samsung Electronics Mexico is seeking a Junior Manager for Risk Management to support the company's operational integrity and financial reporting. You will work on‑site in Miguel Hidalgo, collaborating with regional and headquarters audit teams to identify and mitigate risks across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor system data for irregularities or abnormal signs.
• Conduct audits and risk assessments to minimize operational risks.
• Prepare training for employees on risk‑related policies and best practices.
• Collaborate with regional HQ and HQ audit teams to ensure alignment.
• Review payments, including sales deductions and marketing expenses, and identify duplicate payments.
• Develop, execute, and present audit reports in accordance with regulatory and internal audit standards.
• Apply audit procedures, perform analysis, investigations, and propose process improvements.
• Maintain systematic checks on company operations to improve efficiency.
• Conduct Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 8+ years of experience in risk management.
• Experience with vendor due diligence.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Required skills

• Excel (intermediate level, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and date functions).
