Junior Retail Designer

About the role

As a Junior Retail Designer you will support the design and planning of H&M retail spaces. Working alongside senior designers, you will help translate the brand’s identity and commercial goals into architectural drawings, design packages, and project documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing architectural drawings that reflect H&M’s design concepts and brand DNA.
• Create and review interior design packages and construction documents under senior guidance.
• Prepare visual materials such as plans, sections, 3D models, and visualizations.
• Maintain organized documentation for smooth hand‑overs to internal and external partners.
• Support project follow‑up activities, gather learnings, and identify insights.
• Communicate with colleagues, contractors, consultants, and other H&M teams to ensure coordination.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate feedback into design updates.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1‑3 years of experience in retail architecture or interior design, preferably commercial space planning.
• Proactive mindset with strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to support multiple projects with guidance.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Proficient in Revit.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Architecture.
• Experience with other CAD software for 2D/3D design.
