Junior Software Engineer, Luxury

About the role

Lyft’s Luxury team builds premium ride‑sharing experiences such as Black and Black SUV. We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to help design, develop, and ship high‑quality features that set the standard for the industry.

Key responsibilities

• Help define roadmap and architecture based on technology trends and customer needs.
• Write well‑crafted, well‑tested, readable and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge.
• Deliver technical talks, brown‑bag sessions and promote engineering best practices.
• Lead small‑to‑medium projects from concept through successful execution.
• Collaborate with product, data science, analytics and operations teams to drive impact.

Required profile

• Experience in software engineering, preferably in a fast‑paced product environment.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming principles.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
• Willingness to work regularly from the Mexico City office.
