Key Account Executive – Specialty Retail

About the role

We are seeking a commercially oriented, analytically minded professional to manage strategic accounts within Mexico’s specialty retail channel, focusing on the sneaker and headwear culture segment. The role will drive brand presence, business growth, and long‑term commercial relationships with leading energy accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute customer‑specific business plans to boost sales, sell‑out performance, and brand positioning.
• Analyze KPIs (sell‑in, sell‑out, sell‑thru, turnover, forecast) and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate purchase orders, product assortments, and ensure timely execution.
• Negotiate commercial terms, display spaces, activations, and events.
• Conduct regular store visits to monitor product placement and trade‑marketing efforts.
• Maintain full ownership of sales management and KPI tracking per account.
• Build strong relationships with buying, marketing, and operations teams.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Marketing, Planning, Logistics, and Finance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business or related field.
• Proven experience in commercial roles, key account management, or specialty retail, preferably in fashion, sports, sneakers or aspirational consumer goods.
• Deep understanding of the sneaker/headwear culture in Mexico.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, with a sense of urgency and autonomy.
