LAR Sourcing Specialist

About the role

MSA Safety is seeking a motivated LAR Sourcing Specialist to support its Category Management team. The role focuses on cost control, supplier management and data integrity to help protect people and assets worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Support Category Managers with cost‑savings, supplier quality, development and P2P optimization initiatives.
• Partner with the Transportation team to manage freight spend and cost‑contract initiatives.
• Drive VAVE workshops, maintain cost‑savings pipeline and dashboards, and identify new opportunities through the Contract Management System.
• Prepare RFPs, evaluate proposals, resolve supplier conflicts and ensure social responsibility through audits.
• Assist with purchase order and invoice processing, and manage Purchased Price Variance (PPV) reporting.
• Maintain Purchasing Information Records (PIR), update master data and provide budgeting feedback.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, engineering or quality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering or related field.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally.
