Laravel Developer – Remote Work

About the role

Join BairesDev® as a Laravel Developer and help build high‑quality web applications and APIs for global clients. You will work remotely, focusing on clean code, performance, and modernizing existing codebases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications and RESTful APIs using PHP and Laravel.
• Modernize and refactor legacy code to improve performance, maintainability, and security.
• Optimize database schemas and queries in MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL for high‑performance data access.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Ensure application reliability through testing, debugging, and adherence to best practices.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on PHP development.
• Proven expertise in PHP 7.4+ / 8+ and frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
• Strong experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Solid background in refactoring and modernizing legacy codebases.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
