Laser Engineer

About the role

The Laser Engineer will work in the pre‑fabrication area, reporting to the Senior Engineer. You will be responsible for developing, introducing, and supporting laser‑processed components while ensuring lean production standards and optimal machine performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop manufacturable parts and components in collaboration with R&D, respecting equipment capabilities.
• Assess and release manufacturing drawings and maintain value‑stream maps.
• Design process tooling, transfer hooks, carts, and hand‑tool requirements.
• Create, update, and manage work instructions, spare‑part lists, and preventive‑maintenance schedules.
• Support daily operations, provide required data in SAP, and ensure PPAP compliance.
• Implement lean manufacturing practices, maintain material flow charts, Kanban areas, and workload capacity records.
• Perform safety‑related activities, build pilot and dry‑run parts, and participate in ISO 9001:2015 QMS compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or Electro‑Mechanic.
• Minimum three years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
