About the role

As the LATAM Regional Security Center (LSC) Manager at Uber, you will lead a 24/7 security operations engine that transforms massive streams of real‑time security data into decisive intelligence and response. This high‑stakes, fast‑moving environment requires an owner’s mindset, grit, and the ability to make rapid decisions under ambiguity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and sustain a high‑performing, 24/7 team of security center operators and analysts, ensuring operational excellence and accountability.
• Navigate rapid crisis situations, making thoughtful trade‑offs with imperfect information to protect people, assets, and operations.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with threat and intelligence teams to synthesize disjointed data into clear, actionable intelligence products.
• Own regional operational metrics, manage SLA standards, track performance goals, and align workflows with evolving global security policies.
• Build and maintain critical external partnerships and internal stakeholder networks, using data‑driven insights to influence decisions and maintain credibility.
• Foster an inclusive, high‑pressure culture by coaching operators, encouraging intentional daily performance, and continuously raising execution standards.

Required profile

• Experience in threat analysis management, security operations, or emergency response leadership within a 24/7 watch or fusion center environment.
• Professional fluency in both written and spoken Spanish and English.
• Proven track record of leading a Security Operations Center (SOC) and guiding complex physical security investigations to resolution (preferred).
• Strong systems thinking, ability to prioritize multiple high‑stakes initiatives simultaneously (preferred).
• Excellent business judgment and stakeholder management skills, with the capability to align partners with conflicting priorities during critical incidents (preferred).
