Lead DevOps Engineer

About the role

Infosys is looking for a highly motivated Lead DevOps Engineer to design, implement, automate, and maintain the infrastructure and deployment pipelines that power its applications and services. The role bridges software development and IT operations, driving faster, reliable, and secure software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins.
• Build, optimize, and maintain Docker images and Kubernetes deployments.
• Implement service mesh capabilities with Istio and package applications with Helm.
• Provision and manage cloud resources on AWS, including EKS, EC2, IAM, S3, VPC, and load balancers.
• Write and maintain Terraform modules for infrastructure as code.
• Monitor systems using Splunk and Datadog, creating dashboards and alerts.
• Develop automation scripts in Bash or Python.
• Collaborate with agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, XP) to continuously improve processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 7+ years of hands‑on DevOps experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
