Lead SAP TM IT Expert – Transportation Management

About the role

The SAP TM IT Expert will lead the Transportation Management (TM) module within Nestlé’s SAP landscape, supporting Nestlé Purina’s supply chain. Working in a hybrid setting, you will collaborate with logistics, procurement and business teams to ensure efficient movement of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, customize and integrate the SAP TM module with other SAP components and third‑party carrier systems.
• Conduct testing, develop test plans and coordinate user‑acceptance testing to guarantee solution quality.
• Collaborate with logistics and supply‑chain teams to optimise carrier selection, routing and scheduling.
• Stay current on transportation‑management trends and propose process improvements.
• Provide ongoing support, maintenance and troubleshooting for the TM solution.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience delivering full‑cycle SAP TM implementations.
• Strong knowledge of transportation‑management processes, carrier tendering, routing, scheduling and freight settlement.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, using data to drive decisions.

• BOPF (Business Object Processing Framework)
• ECC integration, CIF and IDOC interfaces
• Master data management (lanes, shares, commitments, BS)
• TCCS, Freight Audit (FA), event management, change controller
• Integration with external applications (carrier portals, visibility, payment providers)
• ECC‑LES‑TRA modules: route determination, shipment documents, SCD, conditions, freight PO, cost allocation
