Legal Analyst (Digital, Privacy & Law Enforcement)

About the role

Bitso is looking for a Legal Analyst to join its Digital, Privacy & Law Enforcement team. You will help shape the company’s AI and privacy compliance programme across multiple Latin American markets while supporting the fight against global crime through legal enforcement requests.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day execution of Bitso’s global AI and privacy compliance programme in Mexico, El Salvador, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina and Gibraltar.
• Respond to Legal Enforcement Requests and data‑subject rights (ARCO) requests, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Draft, review and negotiate data processing agreements (DPAs) and privacy clauses with third‑party vendors.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, Information Security, Engineering and Legal teams on AI governance, cross‑border data flows and privacy‑by‑design for financial products.
• Maintain regulatory calendars and deadlines across jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Law degree with 1–3 years of experience in financial services, fintech, crypto, regulatory affairs, data protection or information law (in‑house, law firm or regulator).
• Fluent in Spanish and English, able to convey complex regulatory and technical concepts clearly.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple regulatory timelines simultaneously.
• Self‑starter who thrives in a remote‑first, fast‑paced environment and takes ownership of projects.

Required skills

• Knowledge of data‑protection regulations and privacy frameworks.
• Experience drafting and negotiating DPAs and privacy clauses.
• Familiarity with AI governance and privacy‑by‑design principles.
