Level 2 IT Technician

About the role

We are a leading global technology services organization seeking a Level 2 IT Technician to join our growing team in San Luis Potosí. You will provide technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure an excellent end‑user experience in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for desktops, laptops, and operating systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
• Manage and resolve incidents through a ticketing system.
• Support Windows, Linux, and basic Microsoft Server environments.
• Deliver high‑quality customer service and technical assistance to end users.

Required profile

• Technical degree in IT or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in an IT support or technician role.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and ticket management systems.
• Experience with hardware repair and maintenance.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Server operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN networking.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
