Linux Server Administrator

About the role

Softtek is looking for a Linux Server Administrator to join its technology team. You will be responsible for the end‑to‑end management of Linux‑based servers, ensuring they run securely, efficiently and with high availability. This role combines hands‑on technical work with capacity planning and preventive maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of Linux servers, from provisioning to decommissioning.
• Configure, update and maintain server hardware and software components.
• Monitor system performance and implement security best practices.
• Plan capacity and execute preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with development teams to support Java and Spring Boot applications.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Linux server administration.
• Hands‑on experience developing or supporting Java or Java Spring Boot applications.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Nice‑to‑have: business knowledge, familiarity with artificial intelligence concepts, customer management experience, and exposure to generative AI technologies.
