Logistic Inbound Coordinator (Villagrán)

About the role

The Logistic Inbound Coordinator will plan and manage the inbound supply chain of green corn and corn seed from production areas to processing sites, as well as parent seed freight to planting zones. The role focuses on negotiating optimal transport rates, monitoring shipments, and reducing inbound freight costs while ensuring compliance with government and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate freight frequency, quantity, locations and delivery times with multiple carriers to achieve cost efficiency.
• Implement digital and sustainable technologies (MCS, IA, GPS, MAT, Navigate, etc.) to improve freight operations.
• Create and track logistics KPIs using MyControlSite (MES) and drive continuous‑improvement actions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve incidents, anticipate delays, and maintain compliance.
• Open investigations, submit carrier claims, and manage the end‑to‑end claim process.
• Maintain up‑to‑date ISO documentation and enforce HSE protocols with carriers.
• Conduct annual cost reviews with Procurement and internal customers to secure competitive freight fees.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering or a related field.
• Several years of experience in seed‑related logistics or agricultural supply chains.
• Strong negotiation, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven capability to influence and collaborate across organizational boundaries.
• English proficiency is desirable.
