Logistic Supervisor

About the role

The Logistic Supervisor oversees daily inbound receiving, warehouse management, inventory control, and outbound logistics to ensure alignment between physical flow, documentation, and system data. The role coordinates closely with Procurement, Production, and Production Planning to meet company objectives while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and lead personnel in receiving, warehouse, and shipping areas, assigning workload according to delivery plans.
• Maintain and optimize inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, discrepancy resolution, and removal of obsolete stock.
• Oversee storage, handling, and organization of raw materials, work‑in‑process, and finished goods.
• Ensure correct packing, documentation, and traceability for shipments in collaboration with the Traffic team.
• Participate actively in the MRP process with Production Planning and Procurement to align stock levels with production forecasts.
• Promote process innovations to reduce time and cost, and implement preventive and corrective actions.
• Develop, measure, and analyze KPIs, defining action plans to achieve targets.
• Manage training and on‑the‑job development for the logistics team.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, client requirements, OEM standards, and regulatory authorities.
• Lead internal and external audits and handle resulting action plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising logistics, warehouse, and shipping operations.
• Strong knowledge of inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and stock reconciliation.
• Ability to coordinate with cross‑functional teams such as Procurement, Production, and Planning.
• Experience driving continuous‑improvement initiatives and KPI management.
• Familiarity with audit processes and regulatory compliance.
