Logistics Coordinator – Automotive Account

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage daily transportation and logistics activities for an automotive manufacturing plant. The role involves close collaboration with plant personnel, drivers, and internal logistics teams to ensure on‑time pickups, deliveries, and compliance with client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the logistics liaison between the automotive plant and internal operations teams.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely pickup and delivery of materials and finished goods.
• Coordinate directly with drivers, warehouse staff, and dispatch teams to resolve real‑time transportation issues.
• Track shipment status, manage exceptions, and communicate delays or discrepancies proactively.
• Support logistics processes such as documentation, load planning, and customer‑specific instructions.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, record non‑conformities, and evaluate carrier performance.
• Ensure compliance with client protocols, plant safety rules, and transportation regulations.
• Identify and propose process improvements within plant logistics operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply‑chain operations; automotive experience is a strong asset.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced plant environment.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
• Availability to work on‑site at the client’s automotive plant with a flexible schedule.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.
• Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or plant‑based logistics systems.
