Logistics Coordinator – Automotive

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage daily transportation and logistics activities for an automotive manufacturing plant. The role involves close collaboration with plant personnel, drivers, and internal logistics teams to ensure on‑time pickups, deliveries, and issue resolution while adhering to client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the logistics liaison between the automotive plant and internal operations teams.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments to guarantee timely pickup and delivery.
• Coordinate directly with drivers, warehouse staff, and dispatch to resolve real‑time transportation issues.
• Track and update shipment status, manage exceptions, and communicate delays.
• Support logistics processes such as documentation, load planning, and customer‑specific instructions.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs, non‑conformities, and carrier performance records.
• Ensure compliance with client protocols, plant safety rules, and transportation regulations.
• Identify and propose process improvements within plant logistics operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations (automotive experience preferred).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced plant environment.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency; familiarity with TMS or plant‑based logistics systems is a plus.
• Availability to work on‑site at the automotive plant with a flexible schedule.
