Logistics Coordinator

About the role

H.B. Fuller is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage import and export operations for its global adhesive business. The role ensures smooth movement of goods, compliance with customs regulations, and effective collaboration across internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments by air, ocean, and ground, and schedule transportation with carriers and forwarders.
• Prepare, review, and validate commercial documents such as invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shipping paperwork.
• Maintain compliance with Mexican Customs Law, RGCE, USMCA, sanctions, export controls, and forced‑labor regulations.
• Work with customs brokers to secure timely clearance, resolve documentation issues, and support audit activities.
• Track logistics KPIs, evaluate freight performance, and provide cost‑optimization recommendations.
• Maintain accurate shipment logs, customs entries, and KPI databases, ensuring consistency with ERP data.
• Communicate shipment status, risks, and corrective actions to stakeholders and support finance with freight invoice validation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of import/export experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican customs procedures, HS codes, and global shipping documentation.
• Fluent Spanish and intermediate‑advanced English.
• High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
