Logistics Coordinator (Network Management Center)

About the role

Expeditors is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join its Network Management Center (NMC) team. The NMC supports major customers across aviation, automotive, pharmaceutical, retail, and technology sectors, providing visibility and oversight for critical and specialized shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Track and trace customer shipments, including temperature‑controlled and aircraft‑on‑ground cargo.
• Manage bookings and monitor critical shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate proactively with Expeditors districts, service providers, and customers to provide accurate status updates.
• Develop subject‑matter expertise for assigned customers and act as the primary point of contact for logistics inquiries.
• Support the coordination of specialized logistics services such as temperature‑controlled monitoring.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of customer service experience and one year of logistics‑related experience.
• Fluent in English; Spanish required for applicants in Mexico.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with data‑visualization or scripting tools such as SharePoint, Power BI, SQL, Tableau, or Python.
