Logistics Officer – International & Nationwide Operations

About the role

The Logistics Officer will coordinate and oversee both international and nationwide logistics activities, ensuring shipments move smoothly from origin to destination while complying with customs regulations and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage import operations across ocean, air, and ground modes, working with customs brokers, freight forwarders and carriers.
• Track international shipments, validate trade documents (invoices, packing lists, BL, AWB, certificates) and ensure Mexican customs compliance.
• Lead end‑to‑end OSW logistics processes, coordinating providers, warehouses and transportation while monitoring KPIs such as OTIF, cost, lead time and incidents.
• Plan and optimise nationwide and regional distribution routes, supervise deliveries, and handle returns or re‑shipments.
• Control logistics costs, prepare performance reports, negotiate with service providers and support audit activities.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Mexican customs and foreign‑trade regulations.
• Proven ability to manage complex logistics networks and resolve operational issues quickly.
• Excellent communication skills for constant interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
