Logistics Planner

About the role

The Logistics Procurement Planner ensures a continuous flow of raw materials and components to support production while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Working closely with suppliers, purchasing, and internal logistics teams, the role translates demand signals into precise procurement plans.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage material requirements based on demand, production schedules, and system parameters.
• Monitor supplier deliveries, address shortages, and mitigate supply risks.
• Maintain accurate planning data in SAP, including lead times, safety stock, lot sizes, and reorder points.
• Track inventory levels, identify excess or obsolete stock, and support corrective actions.
• Monitor procurement KPIs such as material availability and supplier performance.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives and digitalization projects.

Required profile

• Experience in logistics or procurement planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills to convert demand signals into procurement requirements.
• Ability to collaborate with suppliers, purchasing, and internal logistics teams.
• Proactive approach to risk monitoring and mitigation.

Required skills

• SAP (ERP system) proficiency.
