Logistics Specialist – Global Logistics Team

About the role

The Logistics Specialist joins Flowserve’s Global Logistics team to manage logistics requirements across multiple sites in an assigned region. The role focuses on deploying site‑specific logistics strategies, building strong partnerships with logistics providers, and enhancing the order‑to‑delivery experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide oversight of all international and domestic transportation, 3PL/4PL services, and modes using the Logistics Data Repository.
• Implement processes aligned with the global logistics vision and ensure compliance with global policies.
• Conduct training on logistics requirements, including project management, negotiation, sourcing, metrics reporting, Incoterms, and performance to revenue.
• Collaborate in sourcing events from needs analysis to provider onboarding (data collection, RFQ preparation, analysis, selection, implementation).
• Manage escalation processes to resolve logistics issues affecting site performance.
• Develop cross‑functional relationships between global logistics and site supply‑chain teams to improve efficiencies.
• Monitor weekly carrier invoice past‑due amounts and drive corrective actions.
• Analyze large data sets to assess logistics performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics, transportation management, or supply‑chain operations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with complex data sets.
• Excellent communication and training abilities.
• Experience in sourcing, RFQ processes, and provider onboarding.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and regions.
