Logistics Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Logistics Specialist to support the movement, delivery and dispatch of bulk materials for our production site and customers. The role ensures timely shipments, compliance with HAZMAT regulations and efficient coordination with carriers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling, pick‑up and delivery of shipments, maintaining clear communication with carriers.
• Prepare shipping documentation and ensure compliance with HAZMAT and Mexican SCT regulations.
• Manage raw‑material pickups using FIFO methodology and monitor inventory levels for optimal stock.
• Generate inventory reports, consolidate external warehouse data and follow up on delivery delays or safety issues.
• Perform monthly audits, expense reporting and logistics performance monitoring.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, resolve shipping discrepancies in SAP and assist the Logistics Supervisor.
• Review and authorize carrier invoices and evaluate logistics processes for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Industrial Engineering, International Business or Logistics (or equivalent).
• At least 2 years of logistics experience in an operational environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (P31) preferred.
• Strong computer skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI.
• Knowledge of HAZMAT handling and Mexican SCT regulations.
