Logistics Specialist

About the role

As a Logistics Specialist at Phillips Medisize you will support the Materials department by managing import, export and virtual foreign‑trade operations. The role ensures timely plant supply, strict customs compliance and high‑quality service for internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Execute import operations in line with Customs Law, including electronic customs value declarations.
• Collect, validate and maintain purchase orders, proofs of payment, contracts and other customs documentation.
• Carry out export processes, ensuring legal and customer requirements are met from request to shipment release.
• Manage virtual foreign‑trade activities, perform reconciliations and produce internal reports.
• Maintain electronic foreign‑trade files for audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Use SAP/ERP to generate reports, reconcile material receipts and customer deliveries.
• Consolidate proofs of delivery and conduct monthly reconciliations with partners.
• Administer customs broker and transportation provider invoices and track operational expenses.
• Coordinate domestic and international transportation, including pickup scheduling and follow‑up.
• Prepare intermediate‑level Excel reports for expense control and operational analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Customs or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in foreign trade, import or export roles.
• Strong knowledge of foreign‑trade regulations, Customs Law, trade agreements and non‑tariff requirements.
• Experience with electronic customs value declarations and supporting documentation.
• Proficiency in English for technical communication.
