Logistics Support – Export Operations

About the role

The Logistics Support – Export Operations professional coordinates daily export activities, ensuring shipments reach international customers on time and in compliance with trade regulations. This role acts as a bridge between internal teams, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support daily export shipping activities.
• Prepare, review, and maintain export documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shipping paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
• Communicate shipment status and requirements with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and customers.
• Monitor shipments to guarantee on‑time delivery and resolve transportation issues.
• Maintain accurate records of export transactions and documentation.
• Assist with customs audits and regulatory inquiries.
• Collaborate with production, warehouse, customer service, and logistics teams to support efficient order fulfillment.
• Track key performance indicators and prepare logistics reports.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives within export processes.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business or related field (preferred).
• 1‑3 years of experience in logistics, export operations, transportation or supply‑chain support.
• Knowledge of export documentation and international shipping procedures.
• Familiarity with customs regulations, Incoterms and trade compliance.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving and communication skills in English; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
