Maintenance Engineer I

About the role

The Maintenance Engineer I supports operational continuity across Coca‑Cola manufacturing plants by coordinating maintenance planning, procurement activities, and external service execution. This position bridges Maintenance, Procurement, Warehouse, Finance, Legal, and Production to ensure timely availability of materials, spare parts, contracts, and services.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate annual, quarterly and monthly maintenance and procurement plans, securing contracts, quotations, work orders, purchase orders and spare parts for preventive, corrective and shutdown activities.
• Lead vendor and contractor coordination for external maintenance services, overseeing planning, execution, administrative close‑out and SAP documentation.
• Follow up with suppliers, contractors and internal users to guarantee on‑time execution of scheduled maintenance and avoid operational delays.
• Translate technical maintenance requirements into clear commercial specifications for accurate sourcing and purchasing.
• Monitor the Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) process, track open purchase orders, resolve bottlenecks and support invoice closure.
• Create, maintain and govern SAP master data, including equipment Bills of Materials, maintenance task lists, spare‑part setup and MRP configuration.
• Facilitate alignment meetings between Maintenance, Procurement, Warehouse, Finance and Production to synchronize priorities, budgets and schedules.
• Support contractor management through KPI monitoring, qualification reviews and compliance with safety and permit‑to‑work standards.
