Maintenance Operational Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Operational Technician will ensure that production equipment and tools remain in optimal condition, following Harman's HPS philosophy. You will be responsible for maintaining safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets while supporting the production line to meet scheduled output.

Key responsibilities

• Execute assigned tasks while adhering to safety rules and preventing accidents.
• Operate the production line to achieve the scheduled production plan.
• Follow VJI and WS instructions for assigned lines, ensuring product conformity and cycle‑time compliance.
• Maintain equipment availability at 100% through preventive maintenance according to the schedule.
• Close preventive and corrective work orders in SAP, recording downtime accurately.
• Identify and implement improvements to reduce waste and increase operating efficiency.
• Conduct 5S audits and keep the work area organized.
• Assist with classification and temporary storage of hazardous and special waste.

Required profile

• Integrity, innovation, inclusion, teamwork, respect, and a drive for excellence.
• Engineering degree in electronics, mechatronics, automation, or related field, or a TSU in industrial maintenance, electronics, or industrial control.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a maintenance department.
• Basic proficiency in English.
