Maintenance Technician – San Luis Potosí

About the role

3M is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join its facilities in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. The role focuses on keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently while supporting the company’s strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and repair or replace components as needed.
• Ensure all work complies with 3M’s Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies and local regulations.
• Identify hazards, report unsafe conditions, and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and update equipment documentation.

Required profile

• Technical training or a diploma in mechanical/electrical maintenance or a related field.
• Proven experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
• Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and safety documentation.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a commitment to safety.
