Manager, Settlement Operations

About the role

The Manager, Settlement Operations will be responsible for managing daily settlement processing and reconciliation related to the Mexico Clearinghouse process. This role provides oversight to processes driven from the Arcus business unit and assists customer support with settlement issues within the market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify reconciliation issues related to Mexico Clearinghouse submissions and work with Technology teams to mitigate impact.
• Ensure daily funding of local clearinghouses meets regulatory obligations and advise on new regulations.
• Provide direct support and backup coverage for key daily operations functions.
• Assist Settlement Operations to troubleshoot, communicate and resolve settlement issues promptly.
• Liaise with customer‑facing teams to action complex settlement issues and advise external customers and internal partners on settlement set‑ups.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 6‑8 years of experience in card payments, banking back‑office payment operations or SPEI local payments.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, treasury operations and the payment operations industry.
• Proven ability to analyze problems, propose solutions and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills.
