Manager Supply Chain Planning

About the role

The Manager Supply Chain Planning will develop and support processes to ensure timely stock levels of materials and equipment for product manufacturing and delivery across large facilities. This role works closely with sales, manufacturing, and suppliers to align production forecasts and deliverables, contributing to efficient operations at Caterpillar.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with sales, manufacturing, and suppliers for production forecasts and deliverables.
• Manage internal customer relationships and integrate planning processes.
• Improve logistical accuracy for warehouse, equipment, and resource needs.
• Set up and monitor logistical dependencies.
• Use inventory software to manage supplies and address distribution or replenishment issues.
• Track and reconcile inventory for locations or product groups, handling receiving and distribution.
• Identify key processes and implement efficiency improvements using continuous improvement concepts.
• Integrate partner and supplier transactions and use systems for supply chain analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, and distribution requirements planning.
