Manufacturing Design Engineer

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is a global leader in rotary‑wing aviation, delivering high‑efficiency aerospace solutions worldwide. As a Manufacturing Design Engineer you will help define build plans and manufacturing sequences for new products, ensuring efficient production and compliance with customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Define and ensure the creation of a complete Build Plan, including production resources and requirements, to develop an efficient manufacturing sequence.
• Create and manage manufacturing documentation for product industrialisation, including Bills of Material and process routes in the ERP/MRP system (SAP).
• Interpret specifications and drawings, applying GD&T principles to guarantee accurate production execution.
• Support process control and cost‑saving initiatives by optimising resources and improving manufacturing workflows.

Required profile

• Degree in Aeronautical, Industrial or related engineering.
• 2–6 years of experience in the aeronautical industry, production processes or engineering.
• Experience in process analysis and improvement.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in GD&T and drawing interpretation.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP (ERP/MRP) and English language proficiency.
