Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Doosan Bobcat is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to work in an advisory capacity across manufacturing, engineering, and purchasing teams. The role focuses on optimizing safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people through methodical analysis and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct time‑and‑motion studies, methods analysis, and process engineering to balance capacity with customer demand.
• Oversee factory processes, approving changes, preparing capital justifications, and directing new process, system, equipment, and material designs.
• Develop budgets and business cases for new machinery, manage equipment selection, installation, and training.
• Track project spend, ensure alignment with annual operations plans, and manage routing, MBOM, and costing updates.
• Guide new product development with design‑for‑manufacturing and assembly considerations.
• Produce and maintain documentation for tools, evaluate engineering designs for cost impact, and support problem‑solving activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Leadership experience and ability to train and direct sub‑ordinates.
• Travel as required.
