Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineer will drive production optimization, improve efficiency, and ensure product quality for Crown Envases Mexico. The role involves identifying and solving manufacturing issues, introducing new technologies, and working closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize existing manufacturing processes to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Design and implement new production methodologies and equipment.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure production viability and continuous improvement.
• Conduct root‑cause analyses and develop solutions for production problems.
• Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations across all operations.
• Evaluate and select equipment and material suppliers.
• Train production staff on new technologies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in packaging.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is a plus.
