Manufacturing Plant Director – Juarez, Mexico

About the role

3M is seeking a Manufacturing Plant Director to lead its Juarez facility. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, safety, and sustainable growth while collaborating with global 3M teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver essential products, ensuring safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee plant operations including quality, manufacturing, supply chain, cost control, and employee relations.
• Analyze financial data to make informed decisions that maximize profit and minimize loss.
• Develop and execute strategic plans, budgets, and continuous‑improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and disruptive technologies.
• Manage inventory, influence supplier performance, and ensure responsive end‑to‑end supply‑chain performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited institution.
• At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing or production environments, with 5 years in plant leadership.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish, with ability to improve Spanish if needed.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change, anticipate trends, and foster an inclusive workplace.
