Material Planner

About the role

We are seeking a Material Planner to join Marelli’s Logistic AL&S team in Ciudad Juárez. Reporting to the Logistic Manager, you will be responsible for guaranteeing raw‑material supply and preventing production line stoppages across our automotive manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure receipt of requirement information for each part number to guarantee coverage.
• Analyze material requirements for short, medium, and long term horizons.
• Send weekly releases to suppliers after MRP validation and confirm shipments.
• Maintain inventory levels in line with corporate objectives.
• Evaluate supplier feasibility considering capacity and material availability.
• Conduct daily shortage reviews and weekly long‑term reviews of overseas supplier shipments.
• Participate with the Planning Manager in production schedule changes.
• Review transitory reports to ensure all invoices are received.
• Download and analyze supplier delivery schedules to ensure consistency with production plans.

Required profile

• Based at Marelli’s Plant 1 in Ciudad Juárez.
• Reports directly to the Logistic Manager.
• Ability to guarantee raw‑material supply and meet production requirements.

Required skills

• Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
